“Brunninkhuis Chip Ontwerp” was founded in 1988 on New Years Day by Gerard Brunninkhuis, who started operation in an old farmer shed in Hezingen close to the German border. ELMOS AG was launching customer focusing on IC design services for automotive applications and maintained the lead customer position for many years. Philips Test and Measurement was one of the first customers during the early days.
