Alpha Packaging dramatically expanded our manufacturing capabilities in Europe with the November 2017 acquisition of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Etten-Leur, Netherlands. Prior to this acquisition, Alpha operated a manufacturing plant in Roosendaal, Netherlands which focused on PET plastic packaging for the nutritional supplement and OTC pharma markets. When we added the Etten-Leur location to our network, we added a broad portfolio of PET plastic food packaging and more than doubled our capacity in Europe. In 2018, we combined the operations of both facilities into the Etten-Leur location to improve service levels and offer greater efficiencies to customers across the continent.
